Industry expertise

Application-led lubricant programmes for demanding operating environments.

Each sector places different stresses on lubricants: soot loading in diesel engines, water contamination in marine systems, shock loads in gearboxes, dust ingress in mining hydraulics and long idle periods in agricultural fleets. GEG matches base-oil chemistry, additive technology, viscosity grade and maintenance practice to the duty cycle of the equipment.

Mining, quarrying and construction

Mobile mining equipment and construction machinery work under constant vibration, heavy shock loads and high ambient temperatures. GEG heavy-duty diesel oils, hydraulic fluids, axle oils and greases are selected to keep haul trucks, excavators, wheel loaders, crushers and drilling equipment protected when downtime is expensive and access to maintenance windows is limited.

Our recommendations focus on oxidation resistance, soot control, high-TBN retention, water separation and anti-wear performance. For sites running mixed Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo CE and Liebherr fleets, we help consolidate SKUs while preserving the correct OEM and API performance levels for each compartment.

Transport, fleets and passenger mobility

Road transport operators need dependable cold starts, stable oil pressure, after-treatment compatibility and drain intervals that fit fleet scheduling. GEG supplies low-SAPS ACEA E6/E9 and API CK-4 diesel oils for Euro V and Euro VI engines, as well as passenger car engine oils for gasoline, diesel, turbocharged, common-rail and hybrid applications.

Fleet managers can combine engine oils, transmission fluids, axle oils, coolants and brake fluids under one supply programme. This gives workshops simpler purchasing, clearer stock control and a single technical reference point when vehicles operate across different climates and service patterns.

Marine, ports and offshore support

Marine operators face saltwater exposure, long operating hours, fuel-quality variation and strict environmental requirements. GEG marine lubricants cover trunk-piston engine oils, system oils, stern-tube lubricants, gear oils, greases and biodegradable hydraulic fluids for coastal shipping, offshore support vessels, fishing fleets and port equipment.

Product selection is guided by engine type, sulphur content, load profile and class requirements. Our technical support helps ship managers align cylinder oil alkalinity, viscosity and lubricant storage practice with the vessel’s operating region and maintenance plan.

Agriculture, manufacturing and industrial plants

Agricultural cooperatives and industrial sites often operate varied equipment: tractors, harvesters, compressors, turbines, conveyors, gear reducers, hydraulic presses and power-generation units. GEG supplies UTTO and STOU tractor fluids, industrial hydraulic oils, gear oils, compressor oils, turbine oils, greases and specialty lubricants for these mixed environments.

The goal is practical reliability: fewer lubricant errors, stable performance in dusty or humid conditions, and clear maintenance routines. GEG supports distributors and operators with product cross-reference work, storage guidance and oil-analysis programmes that identify contamination or wear before it becomes a shutdown.
